On 01 July in 2015, we QP Co., Ltd (SOU) had a booth in Japan Expo 2015 in Paris, which it was excessively hot day.
This was absolutely amazing experience for us to meet a lot of customers in person.


This amazing experience gave us an opportunity to know the class "Long-Life Design" at Kyoto University of Art & Design,
which they also had a booth in Japan Expo 2015 and theirs were located nearby ours.


Long-Life Design　- to learn the method how to remake the various things which are loved by people for a long time in order to keep in step with the times.


We were very impressed this class, which literally creates the new designs will be supported by people in later generations.
Immediately, we contacted them whether kimono can be reborn into other items, and we gladly assist them.

Thankfully, they were also willing to work with it, and the story between KUAD and SOU had started.




On 07 July 2016, Kyoto University of Art & Design have had a booth in Japan Expo 2016 in Paris.
They dramatically transformed kimono and obi which we donated went abroad, and they are handed to the Japanese lovers in France.


We are glad the students who concerned with this project had great experience that they gave the reborn loved items to the people in person.
