Kasane-eri, also called as "Date-eri", is a decorative collar worn under a Kimono collar.
[ Kurume-gasuri ]
Kasuri made in Kurume city (Fukuoka) and its surrounding areas. It is one of the three main kasuri variations in Japan along with Iyo-kasuri and Bingo-kasuri.
Kurume-gasuri was designated as the Important Intangible Cultural Property in 1957, and a Traditional Craft by the Minister of Trade and Industry in 1967.
