This Yuki Tsumugi, woven in the Ishishita region, has the same texture as the original. There are slight spots near the hem of the left front panel.
There are slight blemishes on the collar peak.

Yuki tsumugi is a hand-woven fabric traditionally produced in Oyama, Tochigi and Yuki area, Ibaraki Prefecture.
It’s a high quality tsumugi that was selected as a Japanese important intangible cultural asset.
Light and warm, furthermore it is tough and less likely to wrinkle. The shinier we washed it, it will not be discolored.
It takes 10-15 days to weave the plain cloth, 30-45 days to weave a exquisite Kasuri pattern, therefore, it is said to be first‐class goods among tsumugi.
