[Seishi HIGAKI] (1949- )
A Japanese potter of Katsura kiln in Kyoto. Seishi was born in Kyoto as a daughter of Souraku Higaki the 1st. After learning pottery skills at the Kyoto industrial laboratory, she refined her skills under her father in 1972. Seishi produces feminine and graceful tea wares with traditional method of Raku ware.
