Yasuo TAMAOKI (1941-)
Mino ware potter, the Gyokuzan-gama in Tajimi city, Gifu prefecture.
He was born at a Minoware kiln, the Gyokuzan-gama, and he is the 4th generation master of the kiln.
After learning pottery skills at Gifu Prefectural Ceramic Research Institute, he refined his skills under Kobei Kato V.
Yasuo was designated as the holder of as Important Intangible Cultural Property of Tajimi city in 2002, and Gifu prefecture in 2008.
