[Ryuan HATSUSEGAWA]
A lacquer craftsman in Nakagyo, Kyoto city.
The Ryuan's studio was established in 1791 and produced Buddhist equipments for Honganji temple. In the Meiji period, Ryuan got to produce chests. The former generation Ryuan had strong connection with Sen family, and started to create tea usentils.
