[Seizan TOMITA]
The Tomita families are potteries in Kyoto.
The first Tomita apprenticed under Keizan KATO (a potter in Kyoto, name is Takeji), and learned potteries.
Both the 1st head and the 2nd head of the family mainly made standing ornaments and tea things.
The 2nd Tomita got praises a lot for his works at the exhibition at Mistukoshi, Takashimaya, or Omaru. He has been a judge of pottery exhibition.
There were not any successor for the families, so the 2nd generation was the last one of the families.
