[Ushikubi Tsumugi]
One style of Japanese tsumugi (pongee) produced in Shiramine, Ishikawa prefecture.
It’s a handwoven silk fabric woven with home spun threads. As it is so tough, it can pull out a nail when hooked, the fabric is also called "Kuginuki Tsumugi" (nail pulling pongee).
