A genuine Yuki tsumugi kimono woven on a Izari bata hand loom. The weaving style used was CHIJIMI-ori. Note: Does not come with a shoshi (kimono identification certificate). Excellent condition for its age (i.e.taking into account its antique status). *Attention*

[Yuki Tsumugi]
Yuki tsumugi is a hand-woven fabric traditionally produced in Oyama, Tochigi and Yuki area, Ibaraki Prefecture.
It’s a high quality tsumugi that was selected as a Japanese important intangible cultural asset.
Light and warm, furthermore it is tough and less likely to wrinkle. The shinier we washed it, it will not be discolored.
It takes 10-15 days to weave the plain cloth, 30-45 days to weave a exquisite Kasuri pattern, therefore, it is said to be first‐class goods among tsumugi.
